The gallery is situated just off the Town Square in the busy Scottish Borders town of Kelso, on one of the main
roads into the town. It benefits from excellent passing trade. EPTAS Arts is dedicated to supporting local artists by providing an attractive venue for the display and sale of their work. It is run by artists for artists.
Whole Venue or wall space hire.
Artists may hire the whole gallery for private exhibitions of their work (any creative field). The
gallery holds up to 180 paintings with display units for artefacts, 3D work or craft exhibitions.
Alternatively artists may hire an area/wall space within the venue for smaller exhibitions.
Display space for individual paintings/crafts/3D work.
Artists may bring up to a maximum of eight paintings/small 3D work/craft work to the gallery. These
will then be displayed in the gallery for a period of up to one calendar month. A small display fee is
charged determined by the size of each item, and there is a commission of 25% on all sales. We
welcome the work of new artists. We also sell artefacts, small antiques and collectables for customers.
Drawing and painting lessons.
We offer drawing and painting lessons – watercolours, acrylics, coloured pencils, pastels etc. Lessons are held within the gallery, and provided by a qualified teacher normally on a one to one basis. All ages and abilities, with complete beginners and those who think they cannot draw being made especially welcome.
Commissions.
We have over fifty artists on our books. If we cannot provide you with the painting you require we can almost certainly put you in touch with a local artist who will be able to produce a picture to your precise specifications.

Framing.
Our framer can frame just about anything – and offers home visits at no extra cost.
